Sharjah Archaeology Department was established in 1986 to supervise all the archaeological and heritage sites all over Sharjah emirate and to provide the necessary protection to them.The vision is to make Sharjah a leader in the field of protecting antiquities, preserving archaeological finds, and adopting best practices and standards to protect archaeological sites and historical areas.
