“The Armenian Educational Foundation was founded in 1950 in Los Angeles to support Armenian students and educational institutions.
In the early years, the CPA established schools in the Middle East, including Lebanon, Greece, and Syria.
In the 1960s and 1970s, the CPA funded Armenian day schools in the United States. In 1986, R. was founded at UCLA University. Hovhannisyan Chair of Modern History, for which the Armenian educational institution donated $500,000.”
